After the great success of the second L’Aperitivo Italiano event, the Italian Chamber of Commerce is organizing the series’ third iteration, which will take place on October 7, 2015, from 6pm to 10pm at the Intercontinental Hotel, Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
The L’ Aperitivo Italiano event series offers guests the authentic Italian experience of enjoying a pre-dinner drink meant to prepare the palate. Guests will have the privilege to indulge in the best Italian wine and finger food available in Asia. A special corner of Italian food will include prosciutto, mozzarella, several kinds of bread, and desserts, sponsored by ItalyBySkill, a Naples-based importer. This month, L’Aperitivo Italiano will launch a new cocktail called Valentina, primarily making use of Don Papa Rum to fuse Italian style with the tropical flavours of the Philippines.
For members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, tickets will be sold at a special price of PHP1,100. Non-members may avail of tickets at PHP1,400. Each ticket entitles the holder to three (3) glasses of the best Italian wine and/or the Valentina cocktail, as well as an unlimited serving of various Italian finger foods. Tickets for the event are limited. Participation will only be guaranteed after purchasing the ticket from the ICCPI office or depositing payment for the ticket into the ICCPI bank account. To confirm your status, email the ICCPI at firstname.lastname@example.org.
L’Aperitivo Italiano will be held every month until December. There is a running contest for all the events with two air tickets to Italy (sponsored by Qatar Airways) or a weekend for two in Flushing Meadows Resort & Playground, Bohol, up for grabs. In order to join the contest, two participants (must be a couple or any two individuals) should take a selfie during one of these monthly events and post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags
#LAperitivoItaliano2015 and #iccpi. A qualified jury will choose the most stylish and fashionable participants as winners during the December event.
