The Tudor Heritage Black Bay, first released in 2012 to critical and popular acclaim, is being re-released with a brand new color scheme, marked by the model’s black bezel. Apart from the new scheme, nothing much has changed with the Black Bay. It retains all of the best design characteristics that made the original Black Bay so appealing: a domed dial, an imposing winding crown, and angular hands, each feature derived from an earlier Tudor diving watch model. The resulting watch was less a pastiche of old pieces and more a tribute to the various versions of the Submariner and the Snowflake Submariner. The Black Bay is expected to be priced at $3,100 for the watch with distressed leather strap and $3,425 on steel bracelet.
