The fourth night that celebrates the finest of Italian cuisine will be the last for the year
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines is gearing up preparations for the final L’Aperitivo Italiano in December. Following the success of the event’s third iteration, the fourth has been announced to take place at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City on the first of December.
As in previous editions of L’Aperitivo Italiano, the event promises to be a showcase of the finest that Italian culture and cuisine has to offer. Of course, as the name suggests, the centerpiece of each event continues to be its drinks. The aperitvo has been traditionally served as a pre-dinner drink, meant to stimulate the palate.
In the third L’Aperitivo Italiano last October 7, the Italian Chamber of Commerce launched a cocktail called the Valentina, which fused Italian style with the tropical flavors of the Philippines, mixing Don Papa Rum with coconut jelly, calamansi juice, and guava juice. A corner of special Italian food such as prosciutto and mozzarella was also set up, sponsored by Naples-based importer ItalyBySkill. PGA Cars also showed their support by displaying a Lamborghini at the event.
For the December L’Aperitivo Italiano, the Italian Chamber of Commerce will be pairing finger foods native to the South Italy islands with the best Italian wine available in the Philippines. It is also during this event that the Italian Chamber of Commerce will end its selfie contest, which offers participants the opportunity to win two complimentary tickets from Manila to Italy, sponsored by Qatar Airways; a weekend for two in Flushing Meadows Resort, Bohol; and other prizes.
