Sneakerheads and hypebeasts, it’s time to rejoice. Commonwealth has made its way to the Philippine shores.

For those of you that aren’t well-versed on sneaker culture and street style, we’re not talking about the long stretch of road in Quezon City. Commonwealth is a decade-old lifestyle specialty store that serves as a retail haven for people hailing from various counter culture communities – basketball-lovers, hip-hop enthusiasts, and DIY divas included. Heavily inspired by themes of community, rebellion, and success-through-struggle, Commonwealth is a boutique driven by rigid standards regarding authenticity, craft, quality, and style.

Commonwealth has received awards in the past and is widely known to stock a broad range of amazing brands. From Stüssy to COMME des GARÇONS Play, Commonwealth’s selection is always something to rave about. Commonwealth Philippines’s head honcho Mike Concepcion shares, “The brand roster will be closely rooted from the core list we see in the US today but we’ve also put together an entirely new list of brands that we will be launching at the store as well. We took into consideration the uniqueness of each market and customized our buys based off what we felt would apply better to the Philippines.” Omar Quiambao, founder and director of Commonwealth, adds, “Whether in Washington DC, Virginia Beach, or here in Manila, we try to our best to find products and brands that will help express the opinions of the local scene.”

Get your street style fix – from kicks that are undeniably fly to caps that’ll punctuate every outfit – at the U/G level of SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City. The industrial-themed, street-chic playground awaits you.
