With 10 three-star Michelin restaurants within the City of Lights, Paris has become a sort of mecca for sophisticated foodies everywhere. So when Chef David Pardo de Ayala decided to take his wife there, the decision on where to dine was a daunting one. After much mouth-watering deliberation they ended up in three-star chef extraordinaire Pierre Gagnaire’s restaurant, and after feasting on codfish tenderloin, suckling chicken mousse, and steamed to order spot prawns, the experience turned out to be somewhat spiritual.
